This service allows clinical training centers to apply for accreditation of the Medical Education and Professional Development Program, to ensure its quality and alignment with the healthcare sector's requirements.

Required Documents:

  • Agenda of the program / include start and end times of each part of the educational program, registration, breaks, and Q&A times.
  • Presentations slides.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the lecturer/speaker.
  • A copy of the medical license for medical facilities in the private sector.
  • Valid professional license for the speaker/instructor.
  • Speaker Declaration Form.
  • Healthcare facilities, Healthcare institutes with less than 50 technical staff names and contact details of the technical staff in the private medical facility.
  • Medical license for medical facilities in the private sector.
  • Trade license of the site / Medical facility license.
  • Recorded video of webinar presentation and PowerPoint presentation.
  • Post webinar quiz (at least 10 MCQ for 1 hour lecture).
  • Payment Receipt.

What does this service cover?

The CME/CPD Accreditation service enables healthcare professionals and facilities to apply for accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs through SHA.

What documents are required to enroll/apply?

Applicants must submit a comprehensive set of documents via the SHA portal, including but not limited to:

  • Program agenda (with timings, breaks, Q&A, objectives/outcomes)  hrdportal.shj.aesha.shj.ae
  • Presentation materials (e.g., slides, brochure, or program materials depending on delivery mode)
  • CVs of all speakers/lecturers
  • Professional licenses: For private sector medical facilities and instructors.
  • Speaker Declaration Form.
  • Additional items if applicable:
    • Staff lists from private facilities (if less than  50 technical staff)
    • Recorded webinar video and PowerPoint, and a post-webinar quiz for virtual programs
